Hello there! Welcome to my photography blog. I thought it would be a great idea to introduce myself and share a bit about my journey into the fascinating world of photography. My name is Brooke! I am a passionate photographer based in the beautiful town of Slave Lake, Alberta.

 

Let me take you back to where it all started. My journey into the world of photography began when I became a mother. The joy of having my children and the desire to capture their every moment, their every smile, their every milestone, led me to pick up a camera. I wanted to freeze those moments into frames, to look back at them and relive those precious memories. It started as a hobby, but I quickly realized that I wanted every parent to have these moments captured as well! I was not just clicking pictures, I was creating memories, not just for myself, but for others too.

 

Photography isn't my only passion though. When I'm not behind the lens, I spend my time indulging in my other interests. I love creating, whether it's trying out new recipes or crafting something I can use for my newborn sessions!

 

A big part of my life is also dedicated to exploring nature. Being based in Slave Lake, I'm surrounded by the stunning beauty of Mother Nature. Every walk outside is a chance to witness something wonderfully photogenic. The breathtaking landscapes, the mesmerizing sunsets, the wildlife - all serve as an endless source of inspiration for my photography.

 

Like many of you, I'm also a fan of binging the latest Netflix series. There's something incredibly relaxing about curling up on the couch with a good show after a long day of shooting. It's my way of unwinding and recharging my creative batteries.

 

One of my favorite activities is attending photography workshops. There's always something new to learn, new techniques to master, and new people to meet. These workshops serve as a constant source of inspiration and motivation for me. They push me out of my comfort zone and challenge me to improve my skills which translates into some amazing moments for you my client :) .
